Belize & United States: A Balance Between Business, Environment & Tourism
Dreams are the beginning...the need for practical, realistic planning is also at hand. At this point, we want to describe in detail just what we hope to build on the shores of the Savanna Forest Reserve, at the Mango Creek Tributary. The environmental education complex will be the most visible symbol of what COTA Club Inc. hopes to accomplish. The buildings and facilities represent the commitment COTA Club Inc has to the preservation of the environment. The buildings will be constructed utilizing the most efficient environmentally friendly materials, using solar power as well as other alternative sources of energy. We will only use products and companies with a proven track record of environmental responsibility to foster the growth of environmental technologies. The facilities will be built with an eye to the surrounding ecosystem to minimize the damage to the natural habitat. We intend to leave as much of the area untouched as possible in order to preserve the natural beauty.A World of Information
Open access and exchange of information is the key to environmental problem solving. We aspire to being a facility providing intangible services to businesses, private groups and governments worldwide. The center will feature state of the art communications equipment in order to enhance global communications which will allow scientists and researchers who are unable to visit, the ability to access our essential information. We believe the more information available worldwide the greater the chances for our goals to be achieved successfully. We will incorporate all the accessible environmental research and information generated by public and private sources into our database and continually update until that time where we are a part of the most complete, in depth environmentally oriented database available. The accomplishment of our goals is dependent on hard work, perseverance and money, we intend to invest whatever it takes to accomplish our goals.
Sharing a Common Goal

Our wish is that COTA Club be a place where an array of different people may come together to work toward a common goal. We believe that open Communication and worldwide interaction is the only way to change attitudes. Upon realization of our goal in altering attitudes and encouraging awareness, we are confident we will have enhanced the lives of not just our visitors but of all the lives they touch as well. We know we dream in panoramic color vision, and we know we can do more than realize them, we are confident we can help anyone who comes to us realize their own dreams as well!
Enjoying nature means getting out there and experiencing it. We intend to emphasize this to the many groups that will visit us. We want to encourage everyone to feel as at home outside as possible. The list of sporting activities available at our center is vast and includes: swimming, scuba diving, canoeing, boating, sailing, fishing and wild life viewing during any season. We will provide easy access to all the country has to offer including guides to all sanctuaries, ruins and reserves, and trail system. We also welcome them to use any of our other facilities at any time. We feel that there is more than enough room for everyone and we welcome anyone who has concerns and questions about the environment and their place in it.
